Inception of the flagship company- Acme Pharmaceuticals by Mr D K Patel. Initial activity comprised of outsourcing of products from different manufacturing sites and marketing the brands pan India.
1995
First manufacturing site
Acme Pharmaceuticals acquires a manufacturing site at Ahmedabad and commences commercial operations in a modest manner. Cadila Healthcare awards contract to manufacture some of its leading brand at the site.
1999
Zydus awards production contract of “Sugar Free”
Production contract of Sugar Free- the leading brand in artificial sweetener is awarded by Zydus.
2002
Incorporation of Acme Dietcare Pvt. Ltd and Acme Skincare Pvt. Ltd.
Two new companies namely Acme Dietcare Pvt Ltd and Acme Skincare Pvt Ltd are formed by taking over Green Pharmaceuticals Ahmedabad .The site Acme Dietcare Pvt Ltd is exclusively dedicated for the manufacture of leading artificial sweeteners brand Sugar Free for Zydus Wellness in domestic arena and for Cipla in the global market . Acme Skincare Pvt Ltd is engaged in the manufacture of topical ointments and lotions and leading cosmetic range of Zydus.
2004
Expansion of manufacturing foot prints to Himachal Pradesh
Acme Remedies, a dedicated facility for Sugar Free manufacturing and Everyuth range of cosmetic is started in the tax-exempt Area of Himachal Pradesh, India. Later on the Merisant Global also approves this site for the manufacture of the leading global brand ‘ Equal’.
2005
Incorporation of Acme Lifescience and Acme Formulations.
Acme Lifescience and Acme Formulation, the state of art Oral Solid dosage manufacturing sites begin operations in the tax exempt area of Himachal Pradesh India. Both the facilities are automatic choice for the leading pharmaceutical companies for their integrated contract manufacturing solutions.

Joint venture is made between Acme and Shankus- a leading hospitality and bulk drug manufacturing company for the promotion and marketing of specialised pharmaceutical products under the banner of Shankus Acme Pvt Ltd.

The group ventures into the project of small volume parenteral.Acme Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd – the state of art infrastructure is established at Sanand GIDC Ahmedabad.

Acme Lifetech LLP, a modern integrated manufacturing facility to manufacture tablets and oral powders comes into existence at the Export Promotion Industrial Park at Baddi , Himachal Pradesh India.
